Community Partners in Action (CPA)

Centralized hub for formerly incarcerated individuals returning to Hartford. Provides basic needs assistance, housing support, substance use and mental health treatment referrals, job readiness training, career development, and peer support groups. Has served over 4,000 individuals.

On the day of their release from prison, people who choose to enroll in a Reentry Welcome Center are transported directly to the Center by the CT Department of Correction (CT DOC), where they meet with their case manager and receive immediate assistance with basic needs.
